Mission
Philalia harnesses the tradition and know-how of Switzerland’s domestic and global leadership in philanthropy. We focus on building coalitions between international and Swiss philanthropic organisations using best Swiss practice. Thanks to our international team of experts and modern research lab, we are able to produce bespoke products that facilitate connexions, innovation and solutions for grant-making and fundraising between Swiss and international philanthropic organisations.

philalia’s Story
Philalia was founded in Basel in 2022 by Dr Peter Buss and Abel Mon Jardin, who together have over 40 years in the sector. While working together in StiftungSchweiz – a major Swiss philanthropic digital platform founded by Peter in 2014 - Abel and Peter decided to found Philalia due to a need and desire for a highly efficient, forward-looking Swiss consultancy that could effectively bridge gaps between international Nonprofit organisations (NGO/NPOs) and the Swiss philanthropic sector.
